New hospital built in Morobo, Central Equatoria

Morobo County in Central Equatoria state has a new hospital after completion of a donor-supported construction project, Eye Radio reported.

Morobo County in Central Equatoria state has a new hospital after completion of a donor-supported construction project, Eye Radio reported.

County Commissioner Moses Soro was quoted as crediting UNICEF and other organizations including AAH and AMREF for helping to realize the hospital project.

The commissioner said that the hospital is fully equipped: “Almost everything is there. We have got a maternity ward, which is fully furnished, thanks to UNICEF.  We have got Pediatric Ward, which is of course going to be fully furnished by UNICEF who helps in the construction of the hospital.”

“We have got a theatre completely furnished which is of course provided by MTDF. We have got out-patient department which is fully furnished. We have got male and female wards with some offices and of course we have got doctors’ residence.”
