South Sudan accuses Sudan of bombing Unity state
South Sudan has accused Sudan of bombing oil fields in Unity state despite recent steps to ease tensions between the two countries.
A South Sudanese military official told the BBC that he heard several explosions on Saturday in Unity state.
Khartoum refused to offer comment on the subject of strikes.
South Sudan announced last Friday that it would begin withdrawing its troops from the region while Sudan claimed victory and said it had successfully expelled South Sudanese troops.
