The spokesman of the police in Western Bahr al Ghazal Simon Luka says that a policeman injured two people before shooting himself in Bagari area in Wau Locality.  

The police representative explained that the policeman who worked in the riot police unit shot his wife and another man on Thursday near Freedom Square in Wau.

Luka added that the two victims were taken to Wau hospital for treatment, whereas the policeman died on the spot. Investigations are underway to determine the causes of the incident.
