The Government of Central Equatoria State will host the 2nd edition of Juba Economic Forum next week, an official said.
Speaking to the press on behalf of the state governor on Wednesday, Thomas Muto Lo’buda, the coordinator of the event said the February 26th-28th event will bring delegates from Africa and beyond.
Muto, who was accompanied by members of Central Equatoria Business Union, said the forum targets at least 300 participants.
He emphasized that the forum seeks to explore ways of diversifying and reviving South Sudan’s economy.
“We have come to brief him (Governor) on the progress of the second edition of the economic forum, and as well on the investment opportunities that we have in Central Equatorial State and more specially in the Juba economic zone,” Muto said.
He said Governor Adil promised full support toward the event, adding that they also expect delegates from within Africa, especially from Asia.
