A drama group calling itself the Adhua Theatrical Group has been presenting theatrical performances in public spacies and streets of South Sudan’s capital Juba these days, with the purpose of fundraising to help victims of last month’s fighting in the city.

The group’s initiative was launched under the theme, "Together for One Nation".

Sarah Adam, a member of the theatrical group, told Radio Tamazuj that the street theatre aimed to raise funds for the conflict-affected people in Juba, saying the money will be given to the needy in peripheral residential areas and those who lost their properties during clashes in Juba.

She pointed out that they will also assist internally displaced families who are sheltering inside the UN camp at Tongpiny area.
