A 25-year-old gang member has been arrested over the killing of a 21-year-old man in the Bentiu IDP Camp of Unity State on Tuesday.
The deputy Commander of the joint police in the Bentiu IDP Camp, David Matut Both, confirmed to Radio Tamazuj the arrest following the incident at the Sector One Block Five on Wednesday.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested by the police after he killed his colleague at the Bentiu IDP Camp,” said Both.
The deputy Commander said the man who was arrested is a member of the Legendary team.
The deceased was identified as Ruot Kuong Latjor from the Old Gang (OG) team.
“The suspect gang member is now under detention at the Bentiu IDP police camp, and he will be taken to the headquarters for investigation,” he added.
