The attacks originate in rebel-held territory in highlands around the town. Fears have spread that conflict could move into Kadugli amid government aircraft flights over the town. Eyewitnesses told Radio Tamazuj that the mortar shelling today coincided with the closure day of the Kadugli Consultative Peace Forum, adding that four mortar rounds fell inside Talu High School and others in Al Masanie neighborhood. There were no reported injuries at that moment. One source who preferred to remain anonymous pointed also to the presence of artillery inside the Kadugli on the east side of the town. She made \u200b\u200bclear that the sky of Kadugli has seen excessive aircraft activity, amid fears among the citizens that conflict could move into the town.
