TNLA Speaker Kumba names chairpersons, deputies of specialized committees

The speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) on Monday named the chairpersons and deputies of the house’s specialized committees nominated by the SPLM and the SPLM-IO.

Speaker Nunu Kumba however said the representatives of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) and the Other Political Parties (OPP) will be appointed at a later date as they did not submit their nominees.

“So, for today, we will announce the names that have come from the SPLM and SPLM-IO, the rest will be done as soon as possible,” Kumba said. “Our work here is to pass what has come from the parties, so I will proceed with the announcement.”

She added: I, Jemma Nunu Kumba, Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, do hereby issue this order for the appointment of chairpersons and deputy chairpersons of the standing specialized committees to the Transitional National Legislative Assembly as follows;
